Yes, working with Youth is my niche. However, I also get great satisfaction from working with adults too. Especially when I'm working with you on anxiety and emotional regulation. Through my training I have come to believe that our bodies store trauma and I am here to support you to let go so you can live your life fully. I am trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.

CBT
Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment approach for a range of mental and emotional health issues, including anxiety and depression.
CBT aims to help you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and to learn practical self-help strategies which are designed to bring about immediate positive change. CBT can be good for anyone who needs support to challenge unhelpful thoughts that are preventing them from reaching their goals or living the life they want to live.
Also, CBT aims to show you how your thinking affects your mood. It teaches you to think in a less negative way about yourself and your life. It is based on the understanding that thinking negatively is a habit that, like any other habit, can be broken.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a psychotherapy method that helps people heal from trauma and other distressing life experiences. EMDR therapy uses eye movements or other forms of stimulation to activate the brain's natural healing process and reduce the emotional impact of negative memories. EMDR therapy is proven to be effective for treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
